If you are at all familiar with the TV series, you will be especially disappointed with the Ang figures. Clearly, some sort of "generic action figure template" was used to create Ang. He looks nothing like the cartoon Ang or the star of the film. Toys that seemed almost contemptuous of their source material were the norm 30 years ago, but kids have grown more a lot sophisticated about such things. They expect their action figures to look like the heroes on which they are based.
