I came to Doctor Who pretty recently, and really enjoyed it, and loved seeing Matt Smith take over from David Tennant. Watching "The Eleventh Hour," his first full episode as the Doctor, I was impressed with his performance. Also, I really liked the way he looked as "The Raggedy Doctor," so when I saw this set, I wanted to get it. Then, I saw a video about the making the action figure, and I knew I had to get it.
Instead of someone making a sculpt of Matt Smith's face, they managed to actually scan his face into a computer and created a model, and even with a few adjustments for a 5'' action figure and a paint job, the face really looks like Matt Smith!
The two figures, one depicting "The Raggedy Doctor," the other the Eleventh Doctor in his normal costume (including his "cool" bow tie and tweed jacket), have almost identical points of articulation: the arms rotate 360 degrees, the biceps and waist swivel, the elbows and knees bend, and the legs can "do the splits" as well as be moved forward and back. The hands on "The Raggedy Doctor" swivel easily, while only the Eleventh Doctor's right can does. The Eleventh Doctor's legs can also swivel at the thigh, but "The Raggedy Doctor" cannot. Both of the figures' right hands can hold the included sonic screwdriver accessory tightly. While "The Raggedy Doctor" could move his head from side to side, the Eleventh Doctor could not.
"The Raggedy Doctor" has the Tenth Doctor's shirt, pants, shoes, and tie. The shirt is detailed with points of tearing, the sleeves are rolled up a bit, and the tie is loose. The shoes and pants do not look damaged, I am guessing that the bottom half was actually the same as Tenth Doctor action figures, especially as "The Raggedy Doctor" is a bit shorter than the Eleventh Doctor. A tiny complaint is that the visible bit of his chest just below his neck is obviously really part of the shirt and simply had the flesh-color painted on. On my figure, either part of the paint has flaked off, or was sloppily painted.
The Eleventh Doctor is more pleasing, with excellent detail on his jacket, shirt, trousers, boots, and bow tie. The jacket actually feels separate from the body: squeezing the back makes "the jacket" press against the figure's back. (Of course, the jacket cannot be removed, unless you want to seriously damage the figure.)
The sonic screwdriver accessory is based on the one the Doctor gets from the TARDIS at the end of "The Eleventh Hour," and is an excellent replica, for an accessory for a 5'' action figure. As mentioned above, both figures can hold it, but I've been keeping mine with the Eleventh Doctor.
Although "The Raggedy Doctor" leaves a couple points to be desired, the Eleventh Doctor more than makes up for it. Any Doctor Who fan who would enjoy action figures should like this set.

Buddy Christ Dashboard Statue Right now
When I came across this on Amazon it brought back memories. To be honest I had completely forgot about Buddy Christ. After it jarred my memory I couldn't stop thinking about Dogma and the early Kevin Smith days. They just don't make movies like that anymore.
In any event, I had to order this. If not as a tribute to the movie, then an inexpensive toy to make people laugh. Buddy Christ really does cheer up the day. I got him on my car dashboard and everytime I get in it makes me crack out a smile. It's like he's literally saying, You're Awesome!
I can see how this toy might offend someone of religious nature. Although nothing on it strikes me as directly offensive, it is a slight mockery. Most people like to think of Jesus in the contemporary sense, he gave his life for our sins and we should respect him. Kevin Smith obviously thought it a better idea to revitalize Jesus in the modern eye as a dude who would just plain out let you know you're on the right path.
Whichever the result, as a non-religious person who isn't an aethiest but rather just unsure of his beliefs. I can honestly say I don't have any religious monuments in my arsenal of posessions. I never thought I would see the day that I would sport a Jesus statue, as a kid the concept of religion always bored me and as I grew older I never got much into it. So to me, this statue is a positive in that sense. Cheap Disney / Pixar TS3 Jessie The Talking Cowgirl
Okay, so not that extreme (this isn't a Firby or anything like that) but the truth remains that this doll doesn't stop talking. My daughter is obsessed with `Toy Story'. She watches it all the time and is constantly asking when she's going to see the new one at the movies. Her favorite character is Jessie (of course, for she is the most obnoxious character in the series) and so she had to have a Jessie doll, and what better version than the one that actually TALKS?!?!?! So, my wife and I found this doll for our little muffin and she attached herself to it and refuses to ever put it down.
Sadly, she is not allowed to sleep with Jessie.
The reason for this is that Jessie doesn't merely talk when her string is pulled. Jessie talks when something touches her. When you squeeze her tummy, when you rub her string, when you sit her down, when you drop her, when you roll on her. JESSIE NEVER STOPS TALKING! This is a problem for a sleeping toddler. My daughter was devastated when I took Jessie from her, but I informed her that Jessie refuses to be quiet and so she has to sleep in the toy box.
And get this, there is not off switch!
It's frustrating. You'd think there was a pull string for a reason. Oh well, the doll is cute (if not a tad awkward physically) and my daughter loves it. To be honest, the Velcro on the back that attaches her bottom half to her upper half and conceals the battery for this toy doesn't stay closed very well.
Oh well, my daughter doesn't know the difference. To her this is the best thing in the world, well, until the lights go out and Jessie has to leave the room.

Ok, so I get the nostalgia and the desire to mimic and celebrate the classic DC Super Power action figures of the '80s, but this figure and character were completely invented as a toy. Though later included in a comic book, there's really no appeal or backstory to this character save nostalgia. I'm also a dunce, but nowhere on the package does it say that you can remove his face and upper chest to expose his robotic interior. I found this out simply by exploring the figure, but I could have easily broken the figure not knowing if a piece really was meant to come off. I got this little Batomobile to go with the Batman Castle that we purchased for my four year old sons Birthday. It fits perfectly, that made me and my four year old very happy. This is one of the newer vehicles that Hasbro has come up with. Lots of Bells and Whistles, great room for troops and very well designed.

Very, very well designed and constructed.

The turret is difficult to move.
Like a lot of the new vehicles, it has a very basic paint job. very little detail in it.
Overall this is a great addition to your collection. The cabin is not as detailed as I would have hoped, but is has some detail. The price like all of the newer vehicles is a bit overpriced, $24.99 is what you will pay pretty much anywhere. But it is a good median between speeders and the larger AT-TE/Turbo tank. Great addition to any collection, I have four (just in time for the new paint job release in August) and they all fit in perfectly with my collection.

Negative Man is another wild card when it comes to ordering. Amazon sells the variant, negative-faced version and the regular, bandaged version. Unfortunately, you won't know which one you get until you receive it. Moreover, this is one of those cases where the standard version, with bandaged face, is superior to the variant. The variant is made to absorb and reflect light through his exposed face, but this feature doesn't work well. Rather, the standard bandaged figure has the right look for those who liked the Doom Patrol. I for one hope that DCU continues to make the other basic members of the Doom Patrol to complete the team. I passed this one up so many times but finally decided to pick him up after reading the other Amazon reviews. No regrets! Although the vehicle mode looks kind of small considering that it should be a mega-sized dump truck, the robot mode is just thee right size. Robot mode is very imposing with lots of neat details, most notably the "hydraulic" pistons in his arms. Other cool little details are molded in gears and hydraulics. Despite the funky green color, paint details are nice. I like the earth-mover feet too. Proportions in robot mode are great and he appears very hefty and imposing with no strange bulky items hanging off his back like a lot of transformers. Vehicle mode is great with a dump bed that works (sort of). It rolls well and holds together very well without popping apart. The leg transformation is very tricky the first time but once you realize that everything fits together tight and perfect, it's really impressive how they get it to all fit in there. Low Price Champion Sports Steel Horseshoe Set
After seeing that a pair of tournament shoes costs about $50-$60, I opted for this $40 set. I am not a horseshoe fanatic and was just looking to pick up a new hobby. A friend and I went to a local park to try our hand at shoe pitching the day I received the set. This park had horseshoe pits that consisted of dirt around the stake and concrete outside of the stake area. Within the first half hour one of the shoes hit the concrete area and broke. The metal appeared to be crystalized at the fracture point. Steel shoes make a high pitched ring when struck, these make a duller sound. Cheapest Halo 3 Flood Combat Human
For those not in the know, the Flood are a parasitic species found in the Halo universe. Through the use of Infection forms (small multi-legged and antennaed creatures), they attack, take over, and mutate the bodies of sentient creatures. Whether the sentient is alive or dead makes no difference, so long as the body is in servicable condition. Species doesn't matter so long as it has sufficient mass to be intelligent. They've been shown to infect Human, Sanghelli (Elites), Unggoy (Grunts), and Jiralhanae (Brutes). This one happens to be an unlucky UNSC Marine, equipped with his SMG.
The Combat Form seen here is the second stage of the Flood life cycle. Eventually this form will turn into a Carrier Form and pass the infection on to more unlucky creatures.
Now that the backstory is out of the way, we can get to the toy itself. It is very very detailed. One can see the look of pain etched onto the soldier's face, the stubble of his shaved head and the joints of the chitinous extensions of the Flood infection.
He comes equipped with a single UNSC issue SMG. The gun comes with, if I recall correctly, a single storage peg that is common to the Halo figures. Unfortunately, this peg has no where to go on this figure, so it would be very easily lost. The gun is also rather difficult to get into his hand, as shown in the picture. I ended up putting the SMG on my Master Chief figure.
As to the articulation...well...there isn't a whole lot. The torso moves slightly, the arms rotate (in particular, the Flood arm) and the hands rotate. No articulation to the legs. The figure also requires a circular display stand (included) to remain upright. He's not really a 'play' figure, but rather a 'display' figure.
Durability...I have a bit of concern with this figure. The form has three feelers/tentacles extending from the chest. If the figure falls over, there is the chance that these will be damaged.
On the upside, the Flood arm (right side in the picture) has a hand that can easily hold the Fragmentation Grenade that came with my Master Chief.Get more detail about Halo 3 Flood Combat Human.

Cool vehicle, pretty true to movie form. The bots are OK, I haven't held them up to the screen to compare, but something seems significantly different... Not going to complain about replica quality in a $15 toy though.
The problems from this one all come actually attempting to transform the toy, or play with the car. While in car form, the two segments of the car tend to separate easily. While in robot form, the doors, etc. fall off easily.

My parents bought this for my son who is 3 1/2 and loves both movies Toy Story and Toy Story 2. After we got him the Buzz Lightyear doll he asked for the Woody character. He played we these for a couple of weeks then asked for the Jesse doll. He's been re-creating scenes from the movie including parts where they drop lifeless into their boxes, except my son throws them lifeless. I squirm thinking he's gonna break one of these dolls but they've kept up so far (he's had them a few weeks now, 8 days with the Jesse doll) and they've kept up well; Buzz is losing some of his paint but my son could care less. Order Star Trek the Original Series Tricorder
I can honestly say that I am completely impressed with this product.
I read extensive reviews before I bought it, so I assumed that it would be pretty cool, but somehow lacking in either make or ability (many of the reviews were positive, but critical). When I opened the box I was hesitant, although the product looked nice- but as soon as I turned it to `play mode' [[definitely do this first! It's set on demo mode naturally, which only allows for one function]] I started giggling like a little kid. I have never felt so much like a child as when I started experimenting with all the lit buttons and scanning things around my room. I'm a college student and a huge nerd, and I've never been so impressed with a toy. It looks, sounds, and acts like a tricorder, and I think that the verbal comments from Mr. Spock are excellent. The strap is well made and the toy has many functions and capabilities- from sounds to lighting effects, it made me feel like I was on planet searching for life forms. It was amazing.
My only negative comment would be that it is very light and seems pretty delicate. Opening the bottom panel always makes me a little nervous, since I fear it might break if I pull too hard, but if one is careful about it I'm sure it'll be fine. So, I would say although nicely crafted, it is a delicate toy.
I would highly suggest this to any Trekkie. If you love Star Trek and you have any imagination whatsoever- you will LOVE this tricorder. It was worth every penny I spent on it. I am beyond impressed.

Where To Buy Bakugan BakuTriad S3- Styles Vary
The new Bakugan Gundalian Invaders toys tend to have slightly higher g-power than that of the last few toys of the New Vestroia series. However, the g-powers can sometimes can get in the low 600s, although most are in the low to mid 700s. The strange thing about the Bakutriad is that it is a starter pack in some ways, and in other ways, it is not a starter pack. Though it includes an instruction manual, the g-powers for the Bakugan can fluctuate by about 100 'G's. Not only that, but the BakuTriad I got happened to have a Bakugan Super Assualt!!!
Despite the odd things about it, the BakuTriad is sure to have powerful Bakugan and cards. It has enough for a kid to play the game, plus it generally has more powerful Bakugan than most other Bakugan sets, and at a better price.

Fisher-Price Go Diego Go Dinosaur Transport Review
My older son saw this toy in a museum gift shop, and kept asking about it for weeks, so I got it for him for his 4th birthday, and it was well worth it.
I'm not sure how "educational" a Jeep toy is, but he has a lot of fun with it. The one quibble I have, and it's a minor one, is that it comes with a baby dinosaur & alligator, and you're supposed to stow them in the back. But the two animals are kind of oddly shaped (as they would have to be -- they're animals, not packing crates), so it's a bit fiddly to get them both into the back. You have to stick the alligator in while the back & sides are open, then close the sides, then drop in the dinosaur from the top & finish closing the top & back doors.
This bothers me more than my son though, he just has fun playing with it, which is of course the whole point.
(And his 1 year old brother has been having fun chasing the truck around when we roll it, too.
