I wish I would have read the other reviews before purchasing this toy, but since it was a $5 Christmas deal, I thought I couldn't go wrong. Right? WRONG! Everything people have said about the voice quality being low to nonexistent is true, but couple that with the fact that these take the expensive 9volt battery, and I actually paid more to power them than I did to buy them. My 5 year old son circled this on his wish list. I wasn't sure about spending almost $[...] on a toy like this but I decided to let it be one of his "big" Christmas gifts. He looked at it once and that was it. He hasn't played with it at all but I really think that's because he's just too young for it. We are storing it until he is a little older. I looked at the features of this toy and I think it is really great and would be lots of fun for an older child. The mouth moves when you press the button for him to talk, his legs move in a running motion, and the gun shoots what looks like rubber arrow bullet type things. If you have an older kid I think they would love this and I have high hopes my son will grow into it. It seems very durable and will hopefully last a long time once the heavy playtime begins.
